The relatives and friends of Mrs. Albertha “Tootie” Ladson Bennett will celebrate her life with a graveside service on Saturday, May 8, 2021 11:00 AM in Payne RMUE Memorial Gardens, James Island, SC. Elder Dr. William E. Green, officiating. A walkthrough visitation will be held Friday at the mortuary from 4-6 PM.
Mrs. Bennett leaves to cherish her memories her children, Henry Ladson (Lula), Frank Ladson (Alethia), Gloria B. Backman (Arthur), Laverne Bennett and Joseph Bennett; siblings, Sandra Ladson, Betty Rollerson (Paul), Rev. Mary Washington (the late Calvin), Julius Wayman (Patricia), Brenda Garey, Virdell Heyward (James), Patricia Aiken, Katie Simmons (Robert), Rhonda Mae Lanon (the late Michael), Cora lee Ladson (the late Jerry), Benny Ladson (Wilhelmina), Elizabeth Brown and (the late Sammy); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her daughter, Ermine B. Mikell and one sister, Gertie Mae Forrest (the late Ed).
Due to COVID-19 Facial Mask is required at visitation in chapel and graveside services
