Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Mrs. Barbara Blake Moss, 77, of Ravenel, SC who answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to her rewards in heaven on Sunday, June 26, 2023.

Mrs. Moss was an educator for many years and a musician.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Barbara Moss are invited to attend her Celebration Of Life on Saturday, July 1, 2023, 11:00 am in Greater Macedonia AME Church, 725 Savage Rd., Charleston, SC. Interment will follow in Red Top Community Cemetery, Johns Island. A Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Friday from 3-7PM.   

Mrs. Moss leaves to cherish her memories her husband Mr. James Moss, one daughter Deidre (Marshall), Charleston, SC, three sons-James Jr. (Jkeonye), Charleston, SC, Gerard Sr. (Barbara), Apopka FL, Stanton Sr., Charleston, SC. One sister-Juanita(Elijah),  Twelve Grandchildren- Ashton Blake Pinkney, Marshall V. Pinkney, Jayla C. Moss, Kaylin R. Moss, James K. Moss, Kai M. Moss, Michaela J. Moss, Gerard A. Moss, Jr., Ava J. Moss, Loreal E. Moss, Klora R. Moss, Stanton Moss, Jr., one niece- Degwanda Smalls, Two nephews-Elijah Smalls, Jr.(Keisha)Shelton Smalls(Michelle), one grand- nephew Cairo Smalls, Two special cousins David Gadsden (Jill), Leola Marshall, one Godchild- Julius Nelson (Gloria) and countless cousins, friends and former students.
