"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her; she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.  Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

De’Andre X. Tommie, 18, of Wadmalaw Island who answered the summons of our heavenly father to retire from his works here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. De’Andre was a varsity basketball player and senior of the class of 2023 of St. John’s High School.

De’Andre leaves behind to cherish his fond memories his beloved mother, Pritchenelia Frasier; siblings, Nijeeah Frasier and Andre Tommie Jr. A host of other relatives and friends.

The relatives and friends of Mr. De’Andre X. Tommie will celebrate his life on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM in St. Johns High School Auditorium, 1518 Main Rd., Johns Island, SC. De’Andre will lie in state in the school’s auditorium Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Baptist church Cemetery, Wadmalaw Island. A walkthrough visitation for De’Andre will be held at the mortuary on Friday 5-7PM.
