Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Mrs. Eva Reed, 92, of Johns Island, South Carolina, widow of Willie Reed and a retiree of the Culinary Division Of Charleston County Schools answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to her rewards in heaven on Thursday on, August 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Reed leaves to cherish her fond memories her children Mary Mack, Hattie Nelson, Kathleen Torres, Rev. Vermelle Reid and Karen Bowen; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Reed loved to bake cookies, sewing, reading and traveling.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her children, the late Jane A. L Dunbar and David Johnson; sister, Mrs. Martha Lee Brown.
