Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Jamel Z. Wells,45, of Ladson, South Carolina who answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Monday, September 26, 2022.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Jamel Z. “DJ Iceman” Wells will celebrate his life on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00 Am in Friendship AME Church, 204 Royal Ave., Mount Pleasant, SC. Rev. Alonzo Redic III., Pastor. Interment will follow in Oceanview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at the mortuary from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Mr. Wells leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Mrs. Devin Wells; children Joshua, Josiah and Ava Wells; his parents, Ms. Kim Grandy and Wadell Wells; mother-in-law, Mrs. Vivian J. Hamilton; siblings, Shemeka Starks and Jessica Grandy; sister-in-law, Natasha Sheppard (Kevin); nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
