Lavina Barnwell

The relatives and friends of Ms. Lavina “Odessa” Barnwell are invited to attend her Home-Going Services on Monday, March 20, 2017, 11:00 am in Morris Brown AME Church, 13 Morris Street, Charleston, SC.  Rev. James A. Keeton, Pastor. Interment: Hillsboro-Brown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday at the mortuary. Ms. Barnwell will lie in state at the church 10 am Monday.

Ms. Barnwell will leave to cherish her memories, her children, Ronnie and Keymont’e Barnwell; siblings, Joe Ann B. Grant (Walter), Arthur Barnwell Sr. (Katherine), Rev. Mary Jordan, Jacqueline B. Rivers (Bernard), Mu’min Abdullah and Doris Coleman; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
