Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Louie Richarson, 74, of James Island, SC who answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Friday, June 30, 2023.

Mr. Richardson was the husband of Mrs. Theresa Richardson and the father of Matthew Richardson (Lauren); Mr. Richardson was also an Army veteran and a retired detective with Charleston City Police Department.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Louie Richardson are invited to attend his Celebration Of Life on Friday, July 7, 2023, 11:00 am in Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1440 Folly Rd., James Island, SC. Interment: Stempoint Cemetery. A Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Thursday from 5-7PM.   

Mr. Richardson leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Theresa Richardson; son, Matthew Richardson (Lauren); mother-in-law, Mrs. Emma Backman; sisters-in-law, Carolyn McCoy, Yvonne Price (Jerry), Carol Palmer and Janet Richardson; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Moore (Una) and Roger Cromwell (Frances); nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Richardson's residence.
