Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Marion Reed, 74, of Charleston, SC who answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Mr. Reed leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Viola Reed; children, Mary Reed Gladden (Rev. Troy O. Gladden), Rev. Dr. Anthony Reed (Karen), Jackie Gathers (Anthony), Joyce Gathers (Leroy) and Larry Gathers (Caroline); siblings Sheldon Reed, Marcellar Reed and James Reed; nieces, nephews, cousins and host of other relatives and friends.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Marion J. Reed will celebrate his life on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Destiny Worship Center, 3625 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC. Rev. Dr. Larry Goss, Pastor and Rev. Dr. Anthony Reed, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Tibwin AME Church Cemetery, McCellanville, SC. A Walkthrough Visitation will be held Monday at the mortuary from 5-7PM.
