Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Nathaniel Mikell Sr., 73, of James Island, SC who answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Mr. Mikell was a brick mason.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Nathaniel Mikell Sr. will celebrate his life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM in First Baptist Church Of James Island, 1110 Camp Rd., James Island, SC. Rev. Charlie Murray, Pastor and Rev. Josephine P. Richardson, Officiating. Interment will follow in Stempoint Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the mortuary on Tuesday from 3-7 PM.

Mr. Mikell leaves to cherish his memories his children, Mary Love, Tamikah Gladden, Pauleshia “Ish” Graves (Larry), Natalie Mikell, Nathaniel Mikell Jr. (Linda), Nathaniel Brown and Janai Brown; siblings, Jeanette Sherman, Joseph Mikell III, Daniel Mikell, Francis C. Mikell, William Mikell and James “David” Mikell (Lorna). Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
